Retaining values in variable tag

Hi all,

Is there any way to make a variable retentive in Control?

In other words, if I stop the runtime engine and then restart it, can it remember the previous value of a variable?

I am using CITECT Studio 2018.

Hi Nayana,
I assume your variable is a local SCADA tag and not something that comes from a field device like RTU or PLC?
If that is the case, it is simply done by enabling memory persist mode. Check out the help topic online:
