Citect Help as PDF

Hi Dirk,
Since converting the help to HTML, we have stopped creating the PDF.
You can only perform a basic text search in PDF, and all links to reference topics (Cicode, CitectVBA and parameters) are lost.
That is why the development team have focused on HTML content only for each release since V7.50.
You can still package up the help and deploy it with your project, using CustFiles feature.
I'd be interested to hear any specific reasons you still require PDF.

I don't need the PDF, I love the web help :) It was a customer request who wants to have a printed version of the help.

Great to hear. It will still be interesting to learn why the customer requested PDF file? Is there some special requirement we can't fulfill with HTML help? By the way, I also really like the online help (this is updated from time to time and per version): https://gcsresource.aveva.com/Citect/WebHelp/citect2018/Content/Home_Overview_Online_Search.htm
This is especially useful when you don't have an install on the machine you are using and still need to look something up.

Hi Olivier, as I said, he want to print it on paper. I think th@e webhelp is now also listed at google and one can directly search there. I remember Brad said something about at the GCS.

Understood. But think of the 100's of pages of paper saved by going digital! :)
The GCS site for the help requires a login I think. You can also find the old help (V8.00 and earlier) on the Citect website (it might get decommissioned soon though):
