IEC 61400-25 supports a handful of communication protocols:
SOAP-based web services
OPC XML-DA
DNP3
IEC 60870-5-104
IEC 61850 MMS
The availability of a communication driver differs with the specific AVEVA product one is using. AVEVA System Platform covers the largest span with communication drivers for SOAP, DNP3, IEC 60870-5-104, and IEC 61850. Out of these, I would recommend one of the IEC protocols which are facilitated through the Telemetry Server component.
