Will SuiteLink Support INT64 ?

We are working on expanding support for data types, and we're looking at OPC UA as a good representation of what we aim for, given that OPC UA is reasonably complete with a rich set of basic types as well as structures and multi-dimensional arrays.

We will ensure that the data types supported by our HMI/SCADA applications can be acquired acquired through communication drivers.

There are also INT64 issues with OI.GATEWAY, OI.MBTCP, and even the Historian’s IDAS.
As a long-time supporter, I have to consider time, costs, technology, and manpower.

It is likely that the full support for 64-bit types will take several releases until we have all components and all com drivers aligned, but we hope to include a few of the improvements with the next major release, duirng 2025.
