Connecting ABCIP with Rockwell Echo

Question

First time setup of Comm Drivers 2023R2 ABCIP with Rockwell Echo. 
 We are trying to simulate reading the data from the Echo emulator - firmware v34.11. 
 Both the Echo and ABCIP are on the same machine - when trying to use the configurator, pointed to localhost (127.0.0.1). 
 On using WWClient, the Device Groups in Diagnostics show a red icon with quality 0x1b when trying to read a tag value. 
 Log message shows Device connection timed out, socket closed. 
 Has anyone been able to successfully establish communication with Echo emulator?

Hello! I successfully established communication between 2023R2 and Logix Echo v36. I'm using a separate virtual machine for each, and I also dedicated an Ethernet port exclusively for the PLC. The setup worked perfectly.
