DNP with Edge in Client-Server Architecture

Do you know if it is possible to configure AVEVA Edge so that another device can query data from AVEVA Edge via DNP3? In other words, can a client-server architecture be implemented with DNP3 in Edge?

Hello Christian Calvachi,

Even though AVEVA Edge has a DNP3 communication driver, it operates only in Client mode. It polls data from DNP3 servers, such as RTUs.

This driver supports unsolicited messages, but only to receive messages sent by these RTUs, no to reply to their requests.

In summary, it is not possible for another DNP3 client to query data out of AVEVA Edge through DNP3 at this time.
