Sending Email using Office365 Outlook with Aveva EDGE

Hi everyone,

Anybody as succesfully used Outlook365 with EDGE to send email ?

I try using the E-mail and FTP configuration tool in EDGE.

So far no success. I problem with the two factor authentication.

Do you have the recipe for using Outlook365 for outgoing email with EDGE?

    Jean,

    While I haven't tried it, you should be able to.

    try configuring the SMTP configuration, A quick google search shows:

    Server Address: smtp.office365.com, Port: 587.

    Make sure you have a relatively recent version of Edge as we added TLS support a few years ago.

    I am not a security expert, but google also mentioned this:

    Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) should be disabled for the account being used for SMTP authentication.
