I'm experiencing an issue where the historian is not showing trends when historizing from the Topserver. However, when I restart the Topserver, the trends start showing up again.
Could you please help me identify the possible causes of this issue?
On the logfiles its shows:

Are you using IDAS tags that are pointed to TopServer to get the trend data? If so, look at the configuration, and see what you have set for the Timeout settings on the Topic. If you have the "Set To No Timeout" item checked, if there is a disconnect with the suitelink connection to TopServer, it will not try to reconnect. If you have the number in the "Timeout" section set too large and there is a disconnect, it may take a long time before it detects this and will do a disconnect/connect on the topic.
The error message seems to be from something else than the data that would go to a trend. It seems to be coming from the Event system. You may have some event tags configured, and some script or connection to a database or other system in that events script, and this may be where the issue lies. It may be trying to connect with a login that is not setup correctly, and failing.
Event Tags will be in the part of the Historian view shown below. Select that highlighted item, and the tags will show on the right, if there are any. You can then right click them, and select properties to see how they are setup.
