Missing "Expression" Feature in Wonderware Historian Web Clients 2023 R2 SP1 P1

Hi Nara,
I have just tested the same in my installation and I can see the Expression option in both versions: Historian 2023 R2 and 2023 R2 SP1 P01.

So there is nothing changed on those side at product level.

"I tested it on two servers, but neither of them had the 'Expression' option. Is it possible that I did something wrong?"

Would you please check you have license activated with "Advance" feature?

If not, try activating DEMO license->Restart Historian Client Web Service and check.

I have to check the license information, but both servers don't have the Advanced license. I'm using an administrator account, which means I am an admin, but I don't see any option or mode to enable it.
I followed your advice and tried using a demo license, but the option (or expression) still doesn't appear.

I'm not sure if I checked something incorrectly. Could you please help me identify the issue?

We also see this issue occasionally on some of our demo VMs when running Historian Client Web. It's definately a quirk of the Historian software because the Advanced Dev Studio 2023 R2 Unlimited Demo licence that we are using does include the Advanced Historian feature line that is required for this. Our current workaround is to re-run the Historian Search section in the AVEVA Configurator and then reboot the machine. That tends to fix it for us.

I followed the steps you suggested, including re-running the Historian Search in the AVEVA Configurator and rebooting the machine. It works with the DEMO license, but not with the real license. This helped me realize that the problem is related to the license, not the version. Thank you!
