News Feed API ?

Can you say more about what you're trying to do? Are you wanting an external application to be able to add a "story" to the Newsfeed? If so, that isn't supported. There is an undocumented REST API for querying the Newsfeed, but not one for updating it. That API is easily discovered using the browser's DevTools if you visit a page that shows the Newsfeed, but there isn't commitment by AVEVA to preserve it and avoid breaking changes in the future. 

Hi Elliott, thanks for the response ! AVEVA Insight is triggering an alert using condition based maintenance into an Enterprise asset management EAM/ CMMS . I would like to provide a feedback to AVEVA Insight saying that a job has been created for that asset which can shows in the news feed. Any idea how i can implement this ? is there a way by updating file comment on the Asset which can trigger news feed ?

You can create a "Comment" for a specific tag/time and that will appear in the Newsfeed. There is some limited documentation on it in the "Help", but probably the best way to figure out how to use it is to manually add a comment on a Line Chart and use the browser DevTools to inspect the associated POST.
