AVEVA Insight Default Time Range?

Dear AVEVA,

The AVEVA Insight OEE has time periods defined at the bottom of pages.
Why would it default to yesterday from 10am and not 12am?
Is this default adjustable?

Also,

Is there a way to access and graph the good/waste product details to display on a dashboard.

The client wants to be able to display the shift information on the dashboard for quick access without having to dig down into the efficiency stats.

Thanks.
Kien

  • Unfortunately, this is a recently introduced regression related to incorrectly interpreting the time zone. This should only impact the Column Chart. The data returned is correctly labeled, but doesn't correspond to the requested time period. For example, in the first chart you posted above, the last column does correctly represent data for "10:00-11:00" in your local time (as labeled), but based on the chart setting of "yesterday" it should end at "00:00".

  • Thanks for the prompt reply.
Can you advise on a timely fix or update?
This enquiry came from a customer currently in trial, 8 days remaining. It would be good to see the fix in play quickly to reflect our responsiveness to issues raised.
    Thanks.

On the second question above, is there a quick way to  shift information on the dashboard for quick access without having to dig down into the efficiency stats?

  • This is resolved in the next release, expected later this week

  • Thank you.
It has been confirmed the patch was rolled out and fixed the issue.
Just checking if this is the official website to get the details of the update/patch/fixes?

  • First, to clarify, the original issue about the time shown on the column chart not matching the requested time is resolved as of last week. There is still not a way to select "shift" as a time period on a dashboard (a separate issue included above)--that is only available in Insight Performance charts.

The published release notes for 2024 are at the link above. The next release (which will be in 2025) will be described in a parallel "2025 Releases" page that will be listed in the table of contents at the left.
