What's the plan for the UDT functionality in InTouch?

Eventually UDT's will replace Supertags. We are working on improved tools for instance creation and management. If you have any ideas for improvements, we would love to hear them here. Also, if you have any concerns about Supertag migration please also add those here. Thanks,

Hi, John Krajewski , I really like how Rockwell manages UDTs in their Studio 5000 , I would recommend having a look at it. Ofcourse it's for PLC and not their SCADA package, but the way you can export a UDT/ routine ( UDT/ graphic for a SCADA ) and then import it is really simple and allows developers for easy understanding of a huge list of tags/ graphics

Well, for the customers using Supertags the most important thing is a migration path to use the new features. The easier the better for obvious reasons.

Thanks for the suggestion we will look into this. 

100% agree. UDTs are a superset of SuperTags so as long as we can correct the tag references (due to change in delimiter from / to .) then the rest should fall into place.nicely.
