If you want to protect your application in the way that you want to reduce the possibility to edit the solution, you could remove the .win files from the application directory, this has to be done after you start window viewer so that the runtime versions of the windows has been compiled (.wvw files).

But if the application needs to be recompiled, or edited then you need to make sure to have a version that is complete with all files available.

Also wen you publish your application it will only include the runtime versions of Industrial Graphics, thus making it hard to modify them.

Another way is to remove the development license, or not install the Window Maker, at least then it is not possible to start it to try and make changes on that node.
