$Second, $Minute, $Hour become negative number.

Hello, I have a question regarding InTouch.

Because the software needs to run for a long time, I tried adjusting the Windows system time to after January 20, 2038.

However, I noticed that $Hour, $Minute, and $Second became negative.

Have any of you encountered this issue before? Thank you.

32 Bits vs 64 Bits...maybe.

Hi. As correctly surmised, this is a general issue with 32-bit time representation and is not unique to AVEVA software.

We are aware of the issue and have plans in place to provide a solution well before 2038.

Similarly, this issue occurs in several functions, such as StringFromTime(), StringFromTimeLocal(), and others related to Timestamp, as well as the operand Mod. Problems arise when the dividend exceeds 2,147,483,647.
