Using Industrial Graphics in 2023R2, I am trying to display 2 points in a trend with Y-axis labels only (no requirement to show X-axis or time) and I am looking into the different possibilities.
This trend is to fit inside a popup window (created as Industrial Graphic) having width size 500.
So, the trend size will be of 500x300 approx and does not require Historical values. Real-time trending is fine.
Single pen trend - uses only 1 point but does not display the Y-axis labels.
Multi pen trend - able to use 2 points and display Y axis values but unable to remove the X-axis labels and the width does not go below 700. If there is an option to bring this to the estimated size, this should work.
Trend client - has only options to show both X and Y labels or None.
On choosing none, the option will be to manually create a Y-axis label with Max and Min value display.
On choosing all, it shows both X and Y axis labels and as a result, the trend size reduces a lot to cater to the label display.
A final alternative would be to use the Legacy Real-time trend in Intouch and convert that window to Ind. Graphics. But I am not sure of its behavior when trying to use in Ind. Graphics.
Looking forward to suggestions to meet this requirement.
