Trend with Historian server name change

I am currently upgrading my system to latest Intouch HMI and looking for a way to change configured Trend files to point to new Historian server. Old server is gone so files on opening hang. Tag names are the same on new system. Open trend files but can't change tag name server

    You should be able to open the .aaTrend files with Notepad, and Search/Replace the OldServerName with the NewServerName

    Hi Christophe, I tried that but opens with a jumble of characters. Did a search but doesn't find the server name unfortunately.

    I believe the .aaTrend files were encrypted with v 2020.x of Historian Client.What you can do is open these files with the latest version of Trend, even if they hang for a minute or two. Then you save them, and open the files with Notepad. They are not encrypted any more.
