Clarification on Vision AI Assistant and Unlimited RDS Clients in AVEVA InTouch HMI License

it covers RDS client connectivity only, Vision AI can be accessed only via RDS and not thick clients

I am reaching out regarding a specific application in a process industry where we intend to connect a camera for product quality inspection using the Vision AI Assistant.

We plan to purchase the AVEVA InTouch Unlimited License and would like to confirm the following:

• Will the Vision AI Assistant work seamlessly with the InTouch Unlimited License for capturing and analyzing data from the camera?

• Can the data from Vision AI Assistant be received and displayed directly in InTouch HMI?

• Are there any additional licenses or modules required for this integration?

1) Yes it will, it needs the correct architecture, network configuration and integration for it to work correctly to benefit from the Intouch unlimited license

2) Yes it can

3) Depends on the architecture and design, as i don't know much about your site and specific details, i would need to spend more time to understand this and provide the correct answer

The FLEX-HMI-015 license includes Vision AI Assistant licensing. The documentation may need updated to have a comma in between Vision AI Assistant & Unlimited RDS Clients as these are unrelated. Vision AI Assistant provides a Web client for a runtime view of the application which is built (Also using Web Based Technology) of which can be embedded into and HMI/SCADA Screen. An API is exposed and documented in Vision AI Assistant that provides the realtime data which is connected to the IP Based Camera, which can be setup and configured as Tags in your HMI/SCADA application.
