AVEVA InTouch HMI Historian

Hello Everyone , I've A problem with AVEVA InTouch Historian ,
Everyday at morning I've noticed that there are some hours not retrieving data , specially from 12 AM to 4 AM
And to solve this problem and got the data during this duration I must restart the historian server PC
To get the data again .

So I'm asking if there is something in the configuration I need to do to not to make this gap everyday ?

This is probably caused by a known issue with Historian where the snapshots are not being merged in time and the data is not available for retrieval until they are merged (which could take hours or days…

This is probably caused by a known issue with Historian where the snapshots are not being merged in time and the data is not available for retrieval until they are merged (which could take hours or days). We experienced this on 2023 P01. Support says it can happen on 2023 P02-P04.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ArchestrA\Historian\Programs\aahStorage

Create DWORD UseFileCacheForRetrieval

Set the value to 0

Restart the server.
