Hi. We are in the process of upgrading MES from version 2014 R2 to 2023. Although a direct upgrade is supported, we are taking a staged approach—first upgrading to MES 2017 R2, then to MES 2020, and finally to MES 2023. After each stage, we connect through the MES client to verify that everything is functioning correctly.
Currently, we are at the MES 2020 stage and attempting to upgrade to MES 2023. However, during the upgrade, we encounter a syntax error when the script sp_u_Ent_StartShift.sql runs. Even after deleting the shift configuration in the MES 2020 database and reusing it for the upgrade, the same error persists. Interestingly, if we create a new MES database directly in MES 2023, no errors occur.
Has anyone else experienced this issue, or does anyone have suggestions on how to resolve it?
