Citect historian

Dear All,

i have a Citect 7.2 and i need to make historical alarms and trend ,but i can't

so can any one send me the instruction to do this

also do i need to have citect historian ??

    You don't require Citect Historian to enable Alarm and Event history in Citect SCADA. You would only add Citect Historian to your system if you have very specific requirements, usually around Report generation and the longevity of the historical information.
    Configuring Alarm and Trends in Citect is quite a big topic, I can't cover in a forum post reply. I can however point you to some resources which should help you.
    Have a look at this user manual, specifically chapter 24 and 28:
