Bouton in a genie

Cetect Scada 2018 (Update Dec2018).

I have a problem with bouton in a genie. I set a privilege for the button and I check the option "disable on insufficiency zone or privilege" with the option "hide". This disables the button but does not hide it. I did the test by placing the button directly on a page and it works. Do you know the problem?

  • Very unlikely to work Stuart. The issue was caused because prior to 2018 genie "groups" were not part of the runtime's dynamic object hierarchy. When we introduced named objkects and relative referencing into 2018, genie groups suddenly became part of the structure and thus override your button. Good news its fixed, and will be in next update as indicated by Erik.
