Any issues with CitectSCADA 2016 (memory leaks, slow page animation on clients)?

Did anyone face relevant issues with CitectSCADA 2016? Any experience is welcome on how you solved the issue.

The platform is based on 2 redundant servers (VM Microsoft Windows Server 2012 Standard R2. Floating licenses mounted on servers. Thin clients (Citrix based). Citect Runtime Manager service running in single process mode. 12 PLCs Siemens S7 (driver PSDirect Ethernet). 7 CTAPI applications exchanging locally (running on the active SCADA server) few tags.

Without Updates: the primary server sometimes sporadically (after long run) was falling into licensing issue and then stopping. The switch to the secondary server becomes irreversible due to license process management locks. To reestablish the correct asset it was necessary to physically reboot both servers.

With October Update: the animation on clients degrades gradually in performance and after 4 days slows down but also sometimes fails (showing incoherent data) forcing to restart the scada on the primary server.

  • It appears I was the only guy falling into this disappointing blackhole...
Just for the records. The issue appeared after installation of the Update October 2018 to CitectSCADA 2016.
Service then suggested me to install the February 2019 Update, which I delayed a couple of weeks. Then I was told to avoid the appliance of the February 2019 Update because it could had been going worst.
Finally I decided to install the December 2018 Update and then those problems disappeared!
