Issues Running Project

Hi, I am currently upgrading a 7.2 project to the latest Citect SCADA2018 version, and am getting this message:

"Before running your project for the first time, computer needs to be set up. Please run Computer Setup Wizard to set up computer."

I then run the wizard, but am met with this message:

"Servers of same type and cluster cannot run on the same machine"

I was actually able to run this same project on another machine, but for some reason I am getting this message on the HMI. I do not have any other projects on this machine, and I have not made any modifications to the original project other than to restore it. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Citect, but that does not appear to fix the issue. I would really prefer not to have to reimage the machine.

Can anyone tell me what's going on here?

  • I didn't manually change anything, but I suppose something could have happened during the upgrade. I did copy over the Citect.ini file from the project directory, so that is there. Do I need to merge those changes into the main Citect.ini file in the main config directory?
