Trends differ from real time values

Good day i have two servers, IOS1 and IOS2. i noticed that with IOS 2 running trend service, my trends indicate half of what the actual PV on the SCADA is but once i stop the trend server for IOS2 and i let trend server for IOS1 running my trends and PV are the same. please assist on what could be wrong with the trend service on IOS2.

both server are time synced and on the same time zone. they are pulling data from the same data base. IOS1= Primary server and IOS2=secondary server

  • Hi Shandulo,

    This could happen if you:
    a) use scaled (2-byte) trend tags
    b) somewhere in the past changed the scaling on the variable tags the trends are based on.
If this is your situation, then you should stop your standby trend server and delete all trend data on it.
It will be recreated on starting the trend server. (You could also try to copy the data from your primary server manually).

    Regards,
    Patrick
