The ABCLX driver is not compatible with this type of PLC. The AB Micro 820 is a PLC with limited communications capabilities.
You have two options:
- Setup Modbus protocol on the Micro 820 device and use Citect MODNET driver.
- Use a Control Logix as a Gateway, which uses Ethernet/IP to communicate with the device. You can then use ABCLX to talk with the Control Logix.
You could also see if RSLinx can communicate with this device, then use OPC to access this data from RSLinx.
Definitely check out the manual for your Micro 820 and see what communications protocols it is capable of.
