SA Combo List Box

To setup a combo list box, there is a cicode function FormComboBox.

would there be an equivalent feature in a SA based control?

or would it better implemented using a generic list genie (similar to the top 5 alarms pop up in the header bar?)

If it is purely text, then we used the ciText.Combobox activeX control on the DefaultShelveUntilForm page. See ShelveForm.ci. If it is graphical, then yes you need to go full custom such as what we did for Top 5.
