We're hard-wiring breaker statuses to the Digital Input Modules/Cards on ION7650 and PM8240s. We're using the meters rather than an IO Island because the meters have a time stamp feature in them. I am using the Schneider ION protocol/driver to create the profile for my meters. Could anyone point me in the right direction regarding the following points.
A) Where can I obtain information on the ION Protocol addressing that is used for tags in the PSO 9.0 profile editor. E.g. IEC Tag Name is GGIO1\Ind1 Address is DI-S1 State|Input 01 Status|Input 1 (IO.0). I want to ensure I'm using the correct Addressing for my SCADA Tags.
B) How can I locate the ION device SCADA time stamp tag for the ION meter that relates to the corresponding Digital Input. For example, when the Breaker Status is Open the corresponding Digital Input on the meter is high and therefore high on my SCADA tag. I want to be able to use the time stamping available on the meter to provide information when breaker statuses change.
If I had information on the ION Device SCADA tags and the addressing I could possibly work it out.
Any advice/help is greatly appreciated.
