I am trying to setup a report that will create a tabular report (in RTF or other text format) when a button is pressed on a graphics page. I have setup an ASCII device and Report item, as well as created a template RTF file with the variable tags that I want in the report. I'd like it to create a new file every time the button is pressed. Unfortunately, right now I am only getting one file created no matter how many time the button is pressed and that file only contains the static report title, column headings and one of the variable's data (correct value though). It should have 6 different values. If I delete this one report file and then press the button it will create 1 again, that only has the same partial data. I have one other RTF report setup that only runs cicode and that one works exactly as expected.
Any suggestions are appreciated. Let me know what more info you would need. Its on a Citect 2018 with 2 machines, 1 primary for I/O, trend, report and 1 backup I/O, trend, report.
