Multiple Deployment Server Citect

Hello to everyone!

I have successfully transfered a project with deployment server/client technique with my desktop-pc.

I want to deploy another project from another pc in the the same computer, but when I am on the Deployment>Computer page on Citect Studio , I can see the computer client in status "Running" and I can select the project to deploy, but I cannot click on the "target" field.

  • Are all computers installed with the same update? Could be the case that the 'another pc' has a lower update installed.
  • I have checked and no, the new deployment server has a lower update installed.
    I am trying to download the same update "2018 Update 04 (Dec 2018)", but it says:
    "Sorry you are not entitled to dowload this product. Please contact your local sales channel to purchase."
  • Kevin, you should have a valid support contract to download updates from the website. I don't know if you registered correctly with your site id. If you fill in your key number in the license generator (https://softwaresupport.aveva.com/LicenseGenerator/Citect/#?selectedTab=LicenseGenerator) you can check your site id and see if your site is still in support. I don't know if you are working for a system integrator or and end-user. You should have a partner agreement or a support contract. If the site is in support you can request the webmaster to link your account to the correct site id. Otherwise contact your local sales channel.
