Update composite genie

Hi, 

I just start to create my own Composite Genie and i have an issue when it's time to update my composite genie.

For example, i paste my composite genie on a page and everything is fine. I make a modification in the XML template file like adjusting the margin of a content, save the XML file, get back to the graphic builder, double-click the composite and then i have an error message:

Even, if i try to paste a new one, i got the same message. 

I have to close Citect Studio and launch it again to have everything back to normal. My XML template file is located in a folder name: Composite Genies in my user project file.

  • Yes, I use GuidGenerator.com to generate a GUID for the template ID and a GUID for the composition ID. The only XML file that contain the same ID is the copy of the template (in the _Compositioncache) that is automatically create when you paste a composite into graphic builder.

    Before you ask, I haven't change any file  in the composition cache ;)

    I try multiple things, like literally copy a composite in the SA_Library, change the ID save it in the same folder and it does the same thing.

    If I change something in the template folder and then make an "Update Pages" in the graphic builder I obtain this error :
