I am currently running CitectSCADA 2018 with the August 13, 2019 update on a Windows 10 Pro computer with a product demo key. I use this setup for development and testing. I am also connected to a simulated modbus control program which simulates all of the modbus communications to the citect program IO servers.
My question is two fold :
When I am running the citect project and open the kernel General page it only shows a client connected and it states that there are no IO servers. This project is configured as a server \ client with networking enabled. It is also a trend, alarm, report server. It simulates data so I have actual trends, alarms and reports. But I cannot display any server information in the kernel window. I would appreciate any information as to why it states that there are no IO servers configured when there are at least 3 primary and 3 secondary servers configured.
The next question is how can I look at only the server computer and tell how many clients are connected to the server?
