windows installer error

Hi,

I try to install VJC 7.5 SR patch 16 over a VJC installation with patch 14.

I get following Windows installer error : "The upgrade patch cannot be installed by the windows installer service because the program to be upgraded may be missing or the upgrade patch may update a different version of program. verify that the program to be upgraded exists on your computer and that you have the correct upgrade patch".

I confirme I have the correct patch for VJC 7.5 installation.

PS : I want to uninstall Patch 14, but I do not find how I can do this. Even uninstalling SR1, I do not find how to do this.

I was thinking in reinstalling SR1, and then installing patch 16. .

Please help how I correct this.

    If you install VJC 7.5 on Windows 10 then there can be problems.
    Only VJC 7.5 SP1 is compatible with Windows 10.
    The latest patch (7.5 SP1 patch 38) did not work on the latest versions of Windows 10 (Perhaps this is just a one-time failure).
    We had to install an older release of Windows 10. Now everything is OK with this project.
