How to slice a pipe from Citect Graphics Builder

Hello community!

This is my first post. I've just started with some designs on Citect Graphics Builder and, after read the manual, I didn't find a way to slice a single pipe into two separate pipes.

Is there any way to slice a pipe from Citect Graphics Builder?

Thanks.

  • It depends on what you mean by slice. If you mean take one pipe and make it two, the prior answer is correct. If you mean insert the equivalent of a "T" to have one input and two output pipes you can use a different method. In Graphics Builder, select the pipe you want to split. The place the mouse pointer over the pipe in the place you want to split the pipe and press the Insert key on your keyboard. This will add a new handle point to the pipe. Repeat this process to add additional handles to the pipe. Then click on each handle to reposition it to create the final pipe configuration you want to create. You can repeat this process as many times as needed to create your desired pipe. I have created pipes with 20 or 20 handles to get a configuration that I need.
