System Architecture,
-We have an IO server, Trend server, Alarm server, and Report server redundancy.
-With Citect SCADA, on-field side we have a DNP3 protocol supported devices.
[DNP3 supported devices is serially loop to device server (Moxa Nport 5130A). device server is connected to SCADA computers using ethernet cable]
Problem,
Primary SCADA and Standby SCADA server is running helthy without any error.
At the same time all field device communication is also monitored healthy and primary SCADA is polling from field devices.
All of suddend we have monitored, primary SCADA's process data is not updating on screen with real time.
Same time we haven't found any error logged in syslog or windows events log.
So we are not sure what could be the problem.
And when we restaretd the primary SCADA's IO server service, then all data start polling normally.
Again we wanted to know what could be the problem here as this systrem was running from more than 9-10 month and nothing have chnaged in configuration or hardware part!!!
