Currently I am working on a project where I am mapping all the live values from our UPS's on site to our SCADA system (we are using Citect SCADA Version 7.2) via SNMP. I have configured the SNMPII Driver settings along with the IO Devices, Ports, Boards, Units etc on our server and have created a page with all the relevant live information. However I am struggling to map the event alarms from the UPS's (which are the Eaton Powerware 9155 units). Is it possible to set up SNMP traps in CItect Scada Version 7.2 so when an alarm/event occurs on our UPS's this alarm/event will be captured. I have read that SNMP traps can be set up by using Cicode however I have not been successful in finding out how to do so. Could someone please assist as I have looked everywhere and all the information/software regarding setting up SNMP Traps in Citect SCADA are for later versions. I have also checked that the alarms/events are mapped correctly as I have monitored the incoming alarms/events via a MIB Browser Trap Reciever.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
