Trend server stopped retrieving data

Devices and tags are all good, trend server is running fine, are seeing the trend files get updated (by looking their time and date) but for whatever reason when we put a pen on Process analyst the historical data is not coming through, its been working fine up to a few weeks ago (windows ran some updates but not are listed as an issue) any ideas ?

So it is not the trend server then that has stopped retrieving data, but rather Process Analyst unable to display trend?

Can you still view trend data from a known good period in the past?

You could also check if the trend data is still being written to the files correctly by using a trend reading tool from the Toolbox forum on AVEVA's Support Site ( https://softwareforums.aveva.com/citect_community/cit-toolbox/ ).

Process analyst will not display the trend, even going back to date previous to them stopping working does not display any data

Sounds like one of the windows updates did mess up something on your machine then.

To close this out the time clock on the server had drifted, we enabled timesync on the windows side and the trends could be viewed
