Citect SCADA 2018 Configurator Not Showing OPC UA Client Driver

Hello,

I am currently running Citect SCADA 2018 v8.10[0] and OPC Factory Server UA v1.01 SP1, and am trying to use the configurator to setup connection between Citect and the OFS. However, when I open the configurator, OPC UA Client Driver does not show like I would expect. I installed the v1.20.000 OPC UA driver during the Citect SCADA 2018 install and have an I/O device setup using OPCUA. I can get the OPC UA client driver to show on a different machine using the same install method and project. I have also tried to use OPCUA driver v3.04.06.000. Neither version of the driver seems to have configurator show OPC UA Client Driver.

I have had this work on this PC in the past, however since then I have installed and uninstalled PowerSCADA v8.2 SP5 and PowerSCADA v9. I thought I have uninstalled these completely, but perhaps this is somehow impacting it.

  • Before you refresh the OS, perhaps take a quick look in the registry using Regedit (don't delete anything you don't fully understand, and always take a backup!!).

    Are there any keys still remaining from Power SCADA?
