S7TCP Driver Error: Unit offline

S7TCP driver version V2.01.01 randomly goes off line then shortly later returns.
Citect 2018 R2 Update 5.

Error: Unit offline   STATUS   000c    S7TCP          UHT                Error_in_CMD-17   16   Generic 000012 Driver 00000023 (0x00000017)

Talking to a new Siemens TIA V16 S7-1518 via Gigabit switch.

Any ideas what to try to fix?

    Does it go offline when trying to read or write a non-existing PLC variable?
    You could try to turn on communication debugging using the parameters [S7TCP]DebugLevel and DebugCategory. Please consult the driver help for more information on how to use them.
