I/O Device Offline-line Cannot talk

I'm using Citect Scada 2018 R1 Update 16. i have this alarm on the hardware alarm for one of our IO devices. i noticed the IO device can only talk to the Secondary server .It use to function well though. i have checked the I/O Devices configuration priorities and they are set the same as other I/O devices; primary 1 and secondary 2. The affected I/O device is Control Logix 5555 however the other I/O devices which are working perfectly are GE RX3i controllers and Allen Bradly Micrologix .

Can anyone assist me.

If your primary and secondary are not behaving the same, you've got differences between the two servers. Check for things like mismatched driver versions, Citect patch versions, Citect ini file settings, TCP/IP settings, proxy settings, etc
