Not able to associate an event with CiCombobox ActiveX

Hi All,

I am generally using Microsoft Combobox for drop down list. I found that sometime is corrupt while windows updates so I would like to switch to inbuilt ciText.Combobox ActiveX for dropdown.

Here is the issue: in Microsoft Combobox there is Event association property while value changes and it help to run some background code while selection changes but I am not able to do it with ciText.Combobox. Am I missing something or is it not possible in ciText.Combobox ?

If it is possible then what is work around?

Hi Bhadresh,

No event of Update Association On is implemented for property Text in ciText.Combobox as the control is developed for internal use only where the change event is not required. Maybe the control should be enhanced for the future.

Hi,

Due to the lack of some events (Enter & Escape) in the ciText.combobox I created with Microsoft Visual Studio a custom combobox.
With the documentation “Creating Custom .NET DLLs” (tn8937) it was not difficult.
