Citect 6.1

Hello all,

Unfortunately i am adding devices in a Citect 6.1.

Is there any limitation on the number of units or iodevice? Because the last one i add doesnt communicate, but if i put it above in the list it starts to communicate and the other one that went to the last one stops communicating.

Best Regards

  • Just have a big system if you hit a limit. Currently this is more than 16K I/O Devices. Don't know what it was in V6.10. Search for Specifications in the Citect Help, should give you an overview of some maximum values.

Turn of Incremental Compile. Pack is always good

Don't know what protocol you are using. I assume ethernet communication. Normally you would need one port per I/O Device.
