Help fixing error "AlarmSync() to database: can't find alarm tag Equip1\Tag1 in the standby database"

Hi Team,

Need your help in fixing below error-

AlarmSync() to database: can't find alarm tag Equip1\Tag1 in the standby database

I tried below steps-

>Ensured same project is running in both Primary and Standby machine.

> Deleted Data folder contents in Standby machine and synced it with Primary (by restarting runtime after deleting the files).

What else I missed?

  • It may be the order of the steps you have taken. I always follow this order for clearing the alarm database:

    1. Shut down the alarm server
    2. Delete the alarm database folder and all of its content from the Data folder
    3. Restart the alarm server

    Deleting alarm database files while the alarm server is still running does not work, and may result in unpredictable behavior.
