Background Colour Alarm Lines

Hi,

unfortunately, the background color of an alarm line is only behind the alarm text and not over the complete with of a row.

This does not look good and it is furthermore error-prone by displacing a row.

Does anybody know, if it is possible to get an alarm line completely filled with the background color while using a proportional font?

(Using a true type font as described in TN000028999 (TN6822) is not an option)

The alarm list currently looks like:

Alarm List - Current Situation

Preferred Option 01: Background Color over complete width

Alarm List - Option 1

Preferred Option 02: Background Color over complete width (column separators excluded)

Thanks.

  • Another option is to remove the old includes and move to the new Situational Awareness style, it has some nice new alarm pages. It also unlocks some new functionality. It depends on how many functions of the old includes are used in the application. Done it a few times now. You can add a new SA project, include your project, remove the old includes, you then have to modify the topology, remove the old alarm pages, change the templates of all your pages to the pagecontent template (I use a GBA script for that) add a navigation menu configuration. Resolves errors, because the old includes are removed, this can be easy or hard. Run it.

  • I like your hint. I am running a SA project but but i can´t change background alarms lines.  Could you please explain some more the configuration method

    Thanks in advance

  • The whole idea of SA is not to disturb the operator with distracting colors. In SA you have the priority icons which can be recognized by the shape and color. If the background color is mandatory use Patricks suggestions.
