Citect SCADA Connector and Aveva Historian Redundancy

The Citect SCADA Connector only supports a single destination to forward the data:

Historian (On-premises)

or

AVEVA Insight (Cloud)

It might be worth asking the question from the AVEVA Historian team if they have any plans to update the Connector, or if it is supported to send data to only one of your redundant Historians (whether the Historian then takes care of synchronization with its redundant partner).

AVEVA Wonderware partner Historians do not synchronise with each other. They know nothing of each other. System Platform dose the store and forward and failover but only in as much as the data being written to the Historians. If you lose data on one then you have to manual fix it and setup tags and so on. It's not very redundant. :(
