MQTT client Plant SCADA

Off top of my head do not know that is a product marketing quest for sure.  2 poss:  1. least likely is that you can connect to an exisitng Aveva/Wonderware com server - that side of aveva has something mqtt now.  I thought there was a document on how to connect to a Wonderware com server in Citect but I cant find anything.  2. will work is - Software Toolbox has something mqtt and they can connect to citect https://support.softwaretoolbox.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3070/kw/citect    likely not the answers your looking for.   But hope helps.

I think the best option available today would be to use OI Server (AVEVA Driver Communication Pack) and make use of the MQTT driver, with OPC in Plant SCADA to get the data.

I haven't heard of any current plans to develop a native MQTT driver within Plant SCADA, so definitely add your vote to the SCADA Ideas portal to help give it more weight.
