Citect Rate of Change Alarm - Example

Has anyone used the Rate of Change Alarm for analog alarms? I'm trying to figure out how I might use it with an analog that represents current values. I tried setting it based on the help, but its way too sensitive. I'm sure I'm just missing how to account for scale factors.

Could someone post an example?

You might also need to take a close look at the help and the Example project could also give you some tips of how it can be configured and how it actually works.
