Citect SCADA 2018 R2 Password change during Runtime

Hello friends, We are getting problem in Password change for Citect SCADA 2018 R2, during runtime if we change password it need to restart Runtime to take effect.Why need to restart SCADA Runtime.

What can we do so not need to Restart SCADA Runtime for password change should take effect.

Hi Sanjay Dharia ,

I believe you are using built in Citect user account. I believe the runtime user database is only loaded on startup (hence requiring a restart).

If you require online changes, best to make use of Windows User Integration. See the online help on this section:
