AVEVA Plant SCADA 2023 is now LIVE!!!!

Excellent.  I assume that existing licenses (that are under a current support subscription) will soon be upgraded to the new version in the License Generator? 

Just a general FYI, the Schneider Electric Floating License Manager (FLM) has been replaced with AVEVE Enterprise License provider. So best to talk to your AVEVA sales team about upgrading the license.

Existing Sentinel (USB key) licenses should be able to upgrade within the License Activation page:

So what happens now when a PC has both USB and AEL installed on the same PC.
Does USB License take precedence?

Or can mix & Match?

ie: Server USB, Floating Client Licenses.

In this release, Which type of license providers to be used at runtime would respect the following order

1. Sentinel - USB
2. AEL
3. Built-in demo License

If no license found in the first provider, the runtime will try the next one and so on.

For USB dongles, the same pattern of license acquisition works as before.

As for AEL, refer to online help for details.

Mixing license providers is not supported as there is only one license provider is active at runtime.
