Multiple clients on terminal server not working.

Hi

i have installed Plant SCADA 2023 running on a server. 

i am trying to set up a terminalserver for client with multiple users. 
the multiple users works fine, but if one of the users closes plant scada, the runtime manager stops for all users. 

if i try to configure the runtime manager to run in service mode, only one user gets license, and the other users get software protection error.

The licenses are USB licenses.

  • As for license, the /x client always look for a floating license in SCADA network. To force it to consume the local USB licenses, you need to add parameter [Client]UseLocalLicense = 1 in Citect.ini on the terminal server. Unfortunately, this parameter is missed in Help. But you can search for UseLocalLicense in https://softwaresupportsp.aveva.com/#/technotes where there are a few Tech Notes for how to use this parameter.
