Restricting Tag Access to OPC DA Server

We have a stand-alone Citect SCADA 2018 R2 Server on site, which our customer would like to access from their PI Historian via OPC DA. Is it possible to limit which tags they have access to? We would strongly prefer that they only view a small subset of our tag list.

No, you cannot determine which sets of tags would be viewable in OPC DA browse session. However, you could control which cluster OPC DA server can be connected to via the following parameter setting if your project is multi-cluster one.

[OpcDaServer.<your OPC DA server name>]Clusters = cluster1,cluster2,...

I don't think this option would meet your requirement.
